  • Infused with a nourishing blend of minerals and vitamin C for soothing
  • Built-in sharpener and smudge tip for endless effects

Tips & Tricks

    NATURAL BEAUTY
  • To create the look of naturally lush lashes, dot eyeliner in between upper lashes, working color right into the base of lashes. Blend lightly with smudge tip for fuller-looking fringe.

  • FINE LINE
  • Start with a freshly sharpened pencil. Hold eyeliner at a 90-degree angle and slowly apply along upper lash line for ultimate precision. Begin at the inner corner of eyelid and follow the lash line to the outer corner of the eye for a crisp, clean line.

  • UP IN SMOKE
  • Master the art of the smoky eye. Apply eyeliner at a flat angle along upper and lower lash lines, beginning at the inner corner of eye and working your way out, for a bold, thick line. Blend with smudge tip for a smoldering blur of color.

Lasting Line Long-Wearing Eyeliner - null 3.6 5 61 61
Not quite what I expected I was looking at this product for awhile, trying to decide if I should buy it if not. Overall, I like the eye liner, but it isn't quite perfect. The application is very smooth, but I have to make multiple lines to get the boldness I am looking for. Even then, it doesn't last 12 hours, which I want. The blender isn't necessary because the pencil is so soft. Also, when I chose orchid, I thought it would actually be purple. Not so. It's more of a chestnut-plum. I like wearing brown eyeshadow with this eyeliner (better than purple shades). I'm making it work, even if it falls short of what I expected. 09/25/2014
Best of both worlds! I have been a fan of the loose liner shadows for a long time, but occasionally used the Big & Bright pencils. They had nice play time (enough time to smudge before they set), but didn't seem to last as long as I would like. Then I received some Round the Clock pencils with kits - great, long-lasting wear, but you'd better hope you put them on where you want them the first time, because there is no time to adjust or smudge or anything before it's locked in for the day. And sharpening them was a nightmare! I even tried sticking them in the freezer in an effort to firm them up for sharpening, but it didn't help. These Lasting Line pencils seem to be a great balance between the long wear of the RTCs and the smudge-time and sharpening ease of the B&Bs. I find that they go on easily and show up just fine (I have the black and navy), and they last all day (I do use the BE shadow primer). I find myself gravitating to these now even more than the loose liner shadows. I will be adding some other shades to my stash. 09/19/2014
not nearly as nice as Round The Clock I found that this liner drags across my powder shadow ... you have to press too hard and it hardly shows (endless orchid). No need for that silly smudging thing on the end... it already LOOKS smudged! For those who had trouble sharpening the round the clock... I had to go back and purchase one of the sharpeners... once I did I had no problem. and I had both the brown and the plum. I won't buy another one of these. 09/14/2014
Another Great Powder Lost Oh no! Yet another wonderful powder product has bitten the dust only to be replaced by a less effective pencil. The powder eyeliner was great but the eyeliner pencil leaves much to be desired. Powder is subtle but long lasting while the pencil is barely noticeable and doesn't last. Bring back the powder and don't mess with proven success! 08/05/2014
Thank you, Bare Minerals, for listening to us! As a lover of the Big and Brights, I was very upset when I found out they had been discontinued. I was lucky to live an hour from an outlet and stocked up and, thankfully, still have some!!! I tried the Round the Clocks and HATED them. Because of medications for an illness, I don't have a steady hand and the Round the Clocks are so unforgiving... And they aren't meant to smudge... I have some in my vanity with the plastic still on them that I can't give away. I don't personally know anyone who likes them. When I received this black Lasting Line in the mail to try, I stared at it on my vanity for a week or so. It is hard to part from the Big and Brights that I love. But I have three Lasting Lines now and purposely waited a few months to give it an honest review. I can say I do still prefer the Big and Brights, but I feel that this eye liner is more of an in between (very close to the B&B) the B&B and the RTCs. These seem to be softer and creamier than the B&B, but still has the smudger and comes with the sharpener built in. These smudgers are softer and shaped differently, having the point makes them easier to use. I have the Absolute Black, Always Charcoal and Lasting Brown. I, now, won't cry when my B&Bs run out and change to another brand for eyeliner because I seriously was going to before when I used and only had the option of the Round The Clocks. Those are some of the poorest reviewed products on the site and I am SOOO happy Bare Minerals listened to us. Please, in the future, if it isn't broken, don't fix it!!! If you want to introduce a product and try new things, please don't discontinue a popular and highly rated product until you KNOW you have come up with something better because WE have told you it is better. And why must you only offer one type of eyeliner and several types of mascara? Why can't we have the B&B AND the Lasting Lines??? 07/30/2014
Best eyeliner ever! I simply don't understand the few reviewers that say the color does not show up. One quick swipe across the eyelid and my eyeliner is absolutely opaque and does not need any going over at all. Plus it's on until I remove it with BE eye makeup remover. Lasting Line Long-Wearing Eyeliner glides on smoothly for a dark, non-smear, tight or bold line. 07/18/2014
Not Impressed I purchased the Orchid color and am getting the same issues with the color not being at all dark enough to actually wear. Had to go back to my old "go to" eye liner so I could go to work. Very disappointed in this product. 07/18/2014
last try for me I had good results with the Round the Clock eyeliner and was sad to find it discontinued. This product does not glide on well and so I have to push a lot to apply. I was surprised as this is the only product that I ever had problems with from BE. 07/16/2014
Love it With my old eyeliner, I was really having to press so hard to get any color, and it took forever to build the look I wanted. This liner is completely the opposite! It is super smooth and goes on really, really easily. This liner lasted over twelve hours with no fading (I used bare minerals eyelid primer). I bought the nonstop navy color, and will say that it is probably a bit darker than I was thinking it would be, but I wasn't bothered by that. Also, it seems that quite a bit of liner gets used when applying, but maybe that's just because I haven't adjusted to pressing less hard yet. I would recommend this to others struggling with their current liner and looking for a smooth, long-lasting liner. 06/22/2014
Fabulous Eyeliner I have always used Clinique's eye liner. It was the only part of my makeup routine that wasn't BE. I bought the Bare Minerals Birthday Kit at Ulta which included the Absolute Black Lasting Line Eyeliner. I can finely say that every piece of make up in my bag is Bare Minerals. This eyeliner goes on smoothly and stays on all day. I constantly rub my eyes and have not had any issues with the eyeliner smudging or disappearing through the day. I also love the built-in sharpener! 06/19/2014

I would guess that it's because it's a waterproof product. I've only used on upper lid.

If you are referring to trying to use this liner on your lower water line, then I would say that you are doing nothing wrong as I've had the exact same problem. It does not seem to go on well in that area, and even if you get it on it seems to fade in less than an hour. I'd recommend using a different liner for water lines because this one just doesn't seem to want to go there.

Unlike the other two who answered this question, I've had the exact opposite experience from them. This liner literally will not go on my lower waterline at all. I have used a lot of other liners for my waterline and have not had an issue with them (so I don't think I am completely doing it wrong haha). Basically the one time I actually got this liner to finally smooth on my lower waterline, it faded in less than an hour. I only use this liner for non-waterline purposes because of this.

I just posted my review on this. THAT is exactly what I love about this product. It is the ONLY eyeliner that EVER stays on my waterline.

The trick is to pull down the lower lid with your finger, blink once or twice to get away any wetness (it needs to be dry to apply), then apply as usual and you're good to go. Works all day for me!

I find this to be VERY creamy, but lasting! I find it to go on smoothly and without much tugging at all. I dont think you would Need to use moisturizer, but you could.

I've applied it both after moisturizer, without moisturizer, AND on top of dry/powdery shadow and it works great.

I do find this liner pretty creamy. Go into the store and try it. I'm 67. The only thing I found is that the sage color isn't very visible unless you layer it on top of a darker color. The best way to know is to try it.
