  • Texture Guide

Matte: Our most opaque eyeshadow. Incredibly creamy color with a rich, velvety finish.

Sheen: Satiny soft and sheer with a touch of glow. Wear it dry for whisper effects, or wet for a more opaque sheen.

Shimmer: High intensity shimmer. Can be softer and more translucent when worn dry, but creates an opaque wash of high sheen-known as foiling-when worn wet.

  • Benefits

    • Easy to apply and blend seamlessly
    • No pulling or tugging of the eye area
    • Use alone or mixed together with other bareMinerals colors to customize shades as you desire
    • Dermatologist tested
    • Ophthalmologist tested
    • Safe for contact lens wearers
  • Looking for something softly sophisticated?

Try using two Eyecolors in the same shade family. Starting from the inner eye, apply the lighter shade halfway across, using an eye brush such as our Heavenly Shadow Brush. Then complete the outer portion of the lid with the darker shade.

  • Turn on the gleam.

Channel your inner drama queen with a technique created by Bare Escentuals called "foiling." It's as easy as applying your eyeshadow with a dampened brush, and it creates a lustrous, light-reflective glow to your eyes when layered over or under other shadows.

Q & A

Last Chance Eyecolor - Sangria 4.5 5 2 2
A matte with flecks of sparkle The color is a matte but there are tiny glitters in it too. Your whole lid won't shine because the color isn't shiny but rather there will be glints. The color is easy to blend with other peach based eye shadows and I can see this being my go to color for this summer. 04/03/2012
Matte? I was surprised that this color was a matte becasue I think it's much more like a glimmer. It has some sparkle in it and the consistency is similar to opal. I still love it and the color is great, but I was kind of surprised. 11/16/2010
