SWIRL, TAP, BUFF® APPLICATION

SWIRL a small amount of bareMinerals® Foundation in the lid until it all disappears into the brush.
TAP away excess.
BUFF onto the skin in a circular motion.

Applying the Makeup is Easy

1. Swirl
a small amount of bareMinerals into the lid with the Flawless Application Brush (for lighter coverage) or the Full Coverage Kabuki Brush (for more coverage) until the bareMinerals are tucked into the bristles.

2. Tap
off excess. bareMinerals should not be visible on the outside of the brush.

3. Buff
bareMinerals onto the skin in a swirling, circular motion, starting on the outside of your face near your cheekbones. Then, buff around your face, working your way to the cheeks, forehead, and nose. Buff until you're satisfied with the coverage. Less is more when applying bareMinerals.

Best for younger skin. I have been using BE for about 10 years now. I don't like to use a lot of make up and always applied BE products lightly. Now that I am in my 40's, my skin needs more coverage. I find that when I use it to cover up dark spots and etc. that it really makes my dry, older skin look very dry and cracked (and I use a very good moisturizer with it); and it emphasizes wrinkles & pores that you just don't see without the product on my face. I still lightly apply the all-over-face-colors and they go on well still, but not the foundation. I was so disappointed that I needed to switch to a cream foundation, but when I did, it just made my skin glow and look so much better, healthier, smoother and younger. I cannot recommend this for older skin, but it is the best ever for younger skin. Please come up with a solution for us older women who have been so loyal for so long. 05/16/2013

Fabulous life saver! This foundation is a must if you have a darker complexion. As you wear, it "improves" becoming more like your skin without the ashy "glow". I receive complements almost every time I wear this foundation. I've tried others and always return to this staple. Its also the best foundation for wear in hot, humid southern summers! 05/04/2013

Fights my oil literally all day and its not cakey. So I was very skeptical on purchasing BE at first, but I had heard so many excellent reviews that I said why not. I went to the boutique to get shade matched, which I highly recommend especially if your makeup challenged or have uneven skin tone like myself. I purchased the matte about 2 days ago and this is the best makeup purchase that I have made. The matte isn't cakey or heavy; it is breathable, feels clean, plus it last all day. I work a 9-5 and live in southern CA so using other products like BB cream or liquid foundation seemed great, until about 3 hours after wearing I looked like someone dumped oil and shine on my face. The matte actually works with my skin to keep the shine away, but it still gives me a natural glow which Iove. Another great thing about the matte; because it's not cakey, if I scratch my face I don't find traces of makeup under my fingernails. The best part about this stuff is that after I put my makeup on in the morning, go to work, sweat, and have the sun beating down on me I come home looking as if I just put my make up on. 04/05/2013

New fave! I bought the original foundation and loved it. Then I decided to try the matte one just to see how it looked, and I love it even more! The original I felt needed to be re-applied after a while...while the matte last all day until I take it off. Perfect, I can wear it at work all day and then get off and still look good. Always an old favorite. This was actually the very first face makeup I have ever tried, I tried it as a 14 year old, and my mom was okay with me wearing it because it looks so natural. With good care of your brushes and actually using the correct brushes, and also a freshly washed and moisturized face, the foundation has always gone on perfectly for me. Sometimes I get a little tired of it when I'm looking for better coverage and switch to different liquid foundations, but I always find myself coming back to bare minerals original. I love it. I think the way to get the best coverage is again, proper preparation of your face (that goes for any makeup) and the right brush. I use the Heavenly face brush. It will always be a favorite makeup of mine, and I never break out with it. Highly recommended. 03/23/2013

Not for Oily Skin I was expecting famous results seeing this over the year, and I tried the foundation with the primer and without. Without the primer nothing was covered up and my face didn't look flawless. With the primer, it looked very cakey and fake on my face. 03/21/2013

Fantastic foundation!!! My mother have been wearing bareminerals matte foundation for years and her skin is flawless! So she inspired me to try out the foundation for myself because of my dry skin. I research this product for months to find my perfect shade and I found two Golden Tan (which I have now) and Warm Tan. The first day I try this product it felt like there was nothing on my face (I like that because I hate caked on makeup) and also my face seem brighter and healthier looking. After two weeks of use my face actually became healthier, softer, clearer and provide the luminous glow I wanted!! It reduces the redness and the dryness on my face, I am soooooooo happy!!!! I love that the foundation contains SPF 15 because I easily tan especially in the summer. It looks beautiful and natural and feels natural, I love this foundation so much and I will never use any other foundation but Bareminerals!! 02/26/2013
