a little more variety please!
I will be unable to try this product for 2 reasons. First, the last time I settled for a warm toned product I had to throw it out. In my experience most alabaster or ivory skinned women have pink undertones. Fairly light won't do, yes I AM that pale! There aren't many color selections for others either. Secondly, I can't think of what that pattern would match, although it sounds well designed inside.I guess I could spray paint the box...again VARIETY!

LOVE everything about this kit this except for....
....the dreadful pattern on the acrylic box.
It just gets worse every day it sits on my counter, that pattern. I know, JA is a design genius and all.....but that pattern clashes with literally everything in my bathroom. You can't tell how jarring it really is in the boutique where there are several of them displayed, or online, where the colors aren't necessarily perfectly displayed by your monitor--but the colors and that pattern are just appalling.
I HATE the pattern. Really, really despise it. I literally lay a handtowel OVER the box, because that pattern makes my eyes cross!
And that's really, really sad: because the acrylic box itself is really worth 7 stars, all by itself.
The box is a great size, divided in the right 'unequal proportions to lay mascaras, liners etc, on one side of it, while your lipsticks fit exactly in the square part--you can even store them standing up, with labels readable, and the lid fits perfectly. I've got more than a dozen lipsticks in mine that way, right now. Plus the lid slides on and off easily, but it's not loose; and because you do have to pull a bit to get the lid off, if it tips over, everything in the box STAYS in the box, because the lid doesn't fall off. Which means my lipsticks don't get dumped all over the counter (always a plus).
I love the structure of the box ITSELF. I want more of the box--but NOT with this dreadful pattern. This box would be gorgeous in solid, saturated primary colors, and I would buy more kits that came in a box of this structure if the box came in primary colors--or even just black or white!
But I'm going to have to figure out how to paint over that pattern with red lacquer or something. That pattern was a terrible thing to do to a really great acrylic box, and I don't think it does the brush handle or the lid of the foundation many favors, either.
Big thumbs up for the supersized foundation, the brush and the structural elements of the box, though.

Disappointed
I really like this product, if I stray to try a new product I always come back to bareMinerals. But I'm disappointed that the deluxe size does not come in the darker shades.

Amazing....
I love this product. Makes my skin glowy and flawless. I usually don't have time to get ready in the morning. I cleanse, tone, moisturizer, and then I use this product right after. It feels like I'm not wearing anything at all and yet I still have full coverage and a luminous glow. I'm always getting compliments. Worth every penny and the jar is huge.. So it's definitely worth it..

Great value !
I was in the boutique looking to restock on the original foundation and was recommended this set. I missed the deluxe foundation (2x than the regular) they had over the holiday so I was definitely excited that this had even more foundation (2.5x !) AND it came with a buki brush which was great since I was also looking to buy another brush (originally had the Full Flawless Brush). Very happy with my purchase !

Sad face!
So every time there's a special edition foundation (such as the 25th… or at least i think it was 25th… anniversary edition silver foundation package thingie…) it's not in every shade, including mine, which is golden medium. I bought the special edition one last time thinking "whatever! Close enough to my shade" but it totally wasn't… i just had to have the special edition one and then walked around with the wrong shade of foundation for like 3 months because of it, so I'm def not doing that again… even though the brush is totally cute. Please broaden the shade spectrum next time! Thanks!

Too Limited
Love the packaging and design...but alas it does not come in my shade and I can't justify paying this much for something I won't use... keep me posted if you decide to do the warmer shades... I am olive with golden undertones and none of these will work for me ;(

Jonathan Adler touch to the original foundation
I was really skeptical about getting this. But I am glad I did, I love the box and the foundation jar. The foundation is 2.5x the size of the normal jar. This jar does not have a click and go sifter, and one will be able to reuse the jar after the product is gone. The kabuki brush that does come in this set is a tad bit smaller than the original but that does not compromise the coverage or quality of the brush. All and all this is a pretty great addition, I just would not recommend the make up jar for traveling- it's size is huge and lacks a sifter. I love Jonathan Adler's design, it looks great next to all my other BE product jars.

Disappointed
I have come to expect great things from this company and intended to purchase this product. UNTIL I came to the site and saw that I could not order the product because all shades are not available. Please keep this in mind for future special releases that there are ladies of all shades from Fair to Deep that would like these items.
