Great for allergy sufferers
Love this brush....! My biggest complaint about the BM brushes is they poke my skin. Year around allergy sufferers have very sensitive skin and other brushes poke, especially around my nose, and leads to sneezing. I've tried several different BM brushes. I've spoken to customer service, but their answer is to clean the brush more frequently. I use this brush for my foundation and have for almost a year now. I also love the soft focus brushes for the same reason.

Awesome Mineral Veil Brush
I do love this brush, though I only use it with the Hydrating Mineral Veil because I know it's formulated to best work with that product. I do love how it feels on my skin, though. It's very similar to the soft focus face brush, which I love. I just keep my use of it to the product which it was designed for :)

I have to say, out of my entire collection, this is my absolute favorite brush. It is just so luxuriously soft that I have a hard time putting it down!
Yes, like others have mentioned this brush is specifically designed for the hydrating mineral veil, which means that it is meant for giving a LIGHT coverage. Though I wouldn't say that mineral veil is it's only purpose. I love using this brush as well for my radiance and all over face colors, anything that I don't want to put on heavily.

Ideal for sensitive skin
I have very sensitive skin - even the lightest buffing with BE brushes can feel harsh and leave my skin a little bit red and irritated. By the time I get to the application of Mineral Veil, my skin is extremely grateful for how soft this brush is. Not only is it good for hydrating, this brush is also the most gentle, forgiving BE brush that I own.

Awesome hydrating mineral veil brush
I love the silkiness of the brush and I love the cooling "splash of water to your face" feeling when applying hydrating mineral veil. This brush is amazing. It should be noted that it has a very specific intended usage, and it is great just for that.

love love
i love this brush just for the hydrating mineral veil. i only have one problem. the bristles are white (unfortunately nothing i can do about that) and catches the warmth and foundation that i put on. i hope that it doesn't affect how the brush is supposed to work

NOT a foundation brush
Don't be confused by this Hydrate & Enlighten Brush. It isn't supposed to be used for foundation - the hair in foundation brushes is cut in different lengths and in a certain way so those brushes will pick up and distribute the foundation correctly.
THIS brush is synthetic and is made to be used for applying Hydrating Mineral Veil. HMV is basically mineral molecules that are water-infused, and you MUST use this brush to apply it because the other brushes will burst the molecules and render the HMV useless for hydration.
Because it is not cut to load and distribute foundations, the Hydrating & Brightening Brush won't work well for that job. But it's great for the job it's made for!

hydrate and brighten brush
Doesn't hold alot of foundation, so I use it for mineral veil.. even then it's not the best coverage.
It is super soft and silky feeling, but not the best brush BE makes.
I feel like I have to use a lot of product and it doesnt go on evenly.
I wouldn't waste your money on this brush..

This brush is super SOFT! I use this brush to apply mineral veil or warmth. It's great for any light coverage color you would like to add. It's very durable and well made!
I like it, but don't love it.
