I love these
I went to the Bare Minerals boutique and bought some of these. I asked the lady at the store to actually show me the best way to use them. So she told me the best way was to tap the top of the lid down a couple of times, then if you have a loose eye shadow lid nearby put a tap a little bit of it into the lid and apply it with an eye shadow brush, then you won't have a mess. So that's how I applied mine and I never had any kind of a mess at all. I also don't do over my entire eye. I apply my eye shadow and the do a small line of it below my bone.

Like nothing else out there.
I bought one of these colors and was not sure that I like it,but you know what I looove it. I have bought just about every color in the group, I actually think they should make more. I don't have any problem with fallout. I type off any access and you a eye shadow brush to blend in the color to give me a lite from within look, and it looks great. I can use it day or night and it is quick and easy to apply, once again BE makes another great product.

I have 3 colors love it
I wear a primer so that might be why it never smudges or smears. I put a little on my lid and blend with a brush. I am about to order another color. I use this a lot of days for work they blend beautifully with each other or other shadows.

Love the color, hate the mess!
I got this a while ago and had a love/hate relationship with it. I loved the color (golden copper). It was beautiful and lasted throughout the day. The only problem was the applicator was terribly messy. I had to tap (and the word tap is putting it lightly) the applicator to remove the excess a lot. My husband was willing to drive me to the store and buy me another eye shadow to get me to stop using this because he hated listening to the excessive "tapping!" Still after trying to get the excess off of the applicator, I would end up with a couple of tiny drops of shadow on my cheeks after application. Those tiny drops go a LONG way. If I tried to just wipe it away, the shadow would be all across my face. It was awful. That was before I finally gave in to putting my eye make-up on first followed by face make-up because I would have to re-do my face every time! Pro (like all BE shadows) it applies and stays. Con it is terribly messy and not a tiime-saver at all. Will not ever buy again.

Does exactly what I'd hoped
I'm in my 50's, so a high shine product is not my best look except for the inner eye corner to provide illumination and brightness. I've been using a competitor's product for that purpose with great success, and this works just as well if not better. With the color I chose, which is Ice, you don't see any color per se; it's a neutral frost (although darker skins might actually see the pink cast). I would never use the sponge applicator; it's simply too big and applies too much product, which is why I knocked off a star. I use my own brushes to control the application, and I suggest starting with the tiniest possible amount as this packs quite a wallop in shine. If you're going to use this where you want it to be obviously there (e.g., across your brow bone or lid), I'd use a clean sponge applicator to control the powder and prevent it from getting all over under your eye. I was taught long ago that the really frosty powders apply better with a sponge on the eyes and have found that to be true.

my fiance is SOOOO annoyed with me, because im so addicted to this eyeshadow! i already bought 10! i love the colors, they go beautiful with my brown eyes! my fiance even loves the eyeshadow, and you know its good when a man compliments on makeup... the applicator is annoying, but i just put a little on my lid, and smudge it around my entire lid with my smudge brush and blend blend blend! it doesn't bother me! did i mention how much i love this eyeshadow?! :D

Nice shimmery eyeshadow!
I bought this for my mom for her birthday because she doesn't like to spend as much thorough time applying eyeshadow, and because it was an eyeshadow with wand/swab altogether and good for travel it worked out great. She got the moon...something color? It's a purple one, I just can't remember the name of it now. Moonshine? not sure. But it looks beautiful, and if you want a more intense shadow look this is really quick and easy to get it. The original formula eyeshadows you usually have to wet or keep building for that foiled look or an intense sheen/sparkle. You don't with these! Just a few swipes and youre ready. Just wish they would keep making more colors for this. But I love the original formula too. Overall pretty good product!

Love the color but...
I really love this shadow...however...I hate the applicator! It is way to big and thick and makes for a very messy application so I use one of my smaller applicators that I have had on hand. This applicator is so big it makes it difficult to get it on your eyes plus is makes it messy! It really needs to be made much smaller and thiner. Other wise the shadow is great lasts a long time and you don't need much of it!

Gold medal a winner!
I love (love!) Gold medal. I know the sponge applicator is a pain with other colors, but I find it great with this one because it is so light. I use it as a highlighter for my brown as weil as my inner eye, or just when I don't want to put on a full face to brighten me up.

It's okay
I got this eye shadow in a kit. I love the high shine, but hated the bottle and sponge applicator. I have a double ended BE brush in which I use the smaller end to stick in the bottle to apply it. I find this much easier apply and control without getting the excess dusting on my face. Would have been better if was packaged like the regular shadows.
