The Best Way to Get a Natural Look I absolutely love this brush. I tried it once as a foundation application brush and it looked so much more natural than when I used the brushes from the kit (not that those brushes were bad, though). Since I am more of a "natural look" kind of girl, this brush works amazingly! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a way to achieve a natural look! 05/04/2013
PERFECT foundation brush I was using the Flawless Application Face Brush at first because that was what came in my original starter kit. It was a good brush but I would have to go over parts of my face a few times to get the coverage I wanted. THEN I bought the Handy Buki Brush. OMG. I apply my foundation (Original Luminous Powder Foundation- Medium Beige) so much faster. I really need to just go over my face once and it's covered. LOVE. I now use my Flawless Application Face Brush for applying Warmth. THIS IS A MUST HAVE BRUSH- YOUR GO TO FOUNDATION BRUSH for powder. 02/05/2013
Great Handy Buki Brush for Great Coverage! If your like me that likes light to medium coverage, but for certain occasions or once in a while you would like full coverage, then this is definitely a must in your brush collection. Why?, because it's super soft, it's great at buffing and delivers excellent coverage. I use it with my matte foundation and the results are amazing! You won't be disappointed! 01/26/2013
My Go-To Foundation brush This is my favorite brush for Matte foundation application. It grabs enough of my Golden Fair to give "full coverage" to my red areas without giving a heavy "make-up" appearance. I much prefer for people to see "me, just enhanced" with makeup rather than looking at my makeup. This brush covers all my redness without applying too much, and I suspect the foundation has something to do with that, too ;) I actually own two of these. I bought one on its own, and then, I bought a pretty brown and pink brush kit a couple of years ago that had this as the foundation brush... I still am using it to this day :) 01/26/2013
Great brush First of all this brush is so soft it's like having a kitten nuzzle your face. I use it for applying foundation and it provides better coverage than the Flawless Application brush. One of my all time faves! 12/29/2012
Full Coverage! I use the brush with the foundation and I use the swirl, tap, buff method and I get the best coverage every time. 12/23/2012
My Favorite Brush I love the full coverage quality that this brush gives you. I used the Buki brush for awhile and always seemed to get a hand cramp using it. The Handy Buki Brush with the long handle was a perfect solution. I have problem skin: reddish cheeks and light acne, and this brush helps get the best coverage possible. It is a high quality brush and that means you need to take care of it. Be sure to wash it regularly. I recommend the cleaners BE sells or gentle shampoo and conditioner....that's right conditioner. Happy Buffing ladies!! =D 11/29/2012
Absolutely perfect! This brush is exactly what I needed. I felt that I didn't get quite enough coverage from the flawless application brush, so my friend recommended the Handy Buki and I'm so glad she did! Perfect medium-full coverage, and it does so very quickly so it actually saves me time when doing my makeup. It's also not scratchy at all and it's very easy to use. LOVE!! 11/03/2012
BEST B.E. brush! This is by far the BEST brush bare minerals has.. I wasn't crazy about any of the brushes that came with my starter kit. I tried this brush (it's not too expensive) and I got what I payed for. It provides full coverage and is so quick to use. It's the perfect size. It also NEVER sheds like the other kit brushes. I'm actually not crazy about B.E. foundation, but lately I've stuck with it because my face has more acne, so I'm staying away from liquid foundations. Even though B.E. foundation doesn't provide super awesome coverage, this brush REALLY helps the minerals fully go on the skin with out wasting any product or using a ton. I'd recommend this to any BE user! 08/06/2012
=) Love this brush. I always know after using this brush, my foundation is applied perfectly to create a flawless complexion. Distributes foundation great and makes applying make-up fun! 07/04/2012

Your brushes can really last forever. I recommend that you clean them at least once a week. Use a gentle shampoo and conditioner. Also, never ever ever let anyone else use them. Your skin is precious and so easily damaged, don't let anyone touch the tools that touch your face. =D

I would clean my brushes once a month. All depends on how often you use them :) The Brush Shampoo works pretty well for me. If you want to go down the most inexpensive route, use your favorite shampoo or conditioner that works well for your hair or one that you don't mind using for your makeup bristles and wash them in that.

I clean my brushes once a week and have had some of them for 5 years now. They are excellent brushes and really live up to frequent use.

Hi JaxRN - You should shampoo them at least every 3 weeks - more often if you have oily skin. The BE brush shampoo is formulated to clean and condition the bristles, so be sure to use it rather than a "people" shampoo.

It's hard to say how long the brushes will last for you - some people use them to apply or touch up their makeup many times a day, and others use makeup only on special occasions. The best gauge is the way they feel and how they 'act' - once they feel scratchy or rough, or if the hair is breaking off, it's time to replace them. (Shedding is normal for the first little while of use because the brushes are packed with extra bristles! )

They almost look like the same brush to me. I have the heavenly face brush and I'm not a huge fan of the brush. I feel like the application is a bit cakey. The catalog suggested the full flawless face brush was a medium coverage and this brush was full. How is the coverage?

I have the heavenly face brush, too. I'd definitely choose handy buki over heavenly face. I agree the heavenly face can give caky coverage. The handy buki is just so much easier to use- it's seriously worth switching to handy buki especially if you want full coverage without looking caky!

The Full Flawless Brush is okay. It's good for quick application and all, but a bit on the bulky side for me. Especially after I washed it with the Brush Shampoo. The Brush Shampoo is WONDERFUL, but I think I may have let it dry the wrong way because it's way softer now, but the brush is now poofy..yuk. Now I don't mind tossing the brush around in my swim bag or going away for a weekend.

The Flawless Face Brush I like to use for medium coverage OR for the Warmth All Over Face Color that I have. I usually use it for Warmth All Over Face Color.

The Handy Buki Brush is my all time FAVORITE brush despite it's smaller brush size. This brush has bristles made of Goat Hair so it's soft, but a bit more stiff. The Heavenly Face Brush is made of goat hair, but the Heavenly Blush Brush is made way softer. Like synthetic. I want to say Taklon or Ox maybe. The details of the product doesn't say, but I love how I can use it for blush and it doesn't take much before I can get the pop of color I need on my cheeks.

I can swirl tap and buff perfectly with this brush. I can really focus on areas that really need the buffing while controlling how much I put on my face. It fits well into the jar top so there's plenty of room to swirl for sure. Try it! Can't order it? Go to a store that sells BE products and ask for the Handy Buki Brush if they have it in stock.

The bristles in this brush are more compact than the Heavenly Face Brush and have a sligtly coarser texture. For me, this is an excellent brush for a full coverage foundation look. I use the Heavenly Face Brush for applying blush or all over face color.
