Flawless Face Case
Big..bulky and a total mess...how do I get my money back...I ordered online
Threw mine away
This was much too bulky, messy and difficult to get the product into the brush area. Even though there is a snap cover, the whole inside was messy which rendered the mirror useless unless cleaned every time. Regret wasting my money. :(
If you are like me and carry a big purse and don't mind bulky, its works. It takes a bit of practice, and my sifter doesn't work as well as I like, but for a quick touch up, it does the trick. I like that i has a large mirror. I use it with tinted mineral veil to freshen up since I have oily skin and always get shiny by mid day
Flawless Face Case is absolutely essential!
I was a product tester for this case when it was in development years ago and have been using it ever since. I use it to carry mineral veil with me in my purse. It is perfect, always easy to find in your bag, has a large mirror display and having a handy buki instead of a thin, flat brush for touch-ups is perfect. The case has been very durable. It gets tossed around in my bag, keys dropped on top of it and usual daily wear-and-tear.
Cute but unnecessary
I got this case because I wanted the Baby Buki brush, and on sale it didn't cost much more to get the this duo. I agree with many of the other reviews. It's cute, it's useful, and the Baby Buki brush is great, but honestly it's too big to serve its purpose as a "compact". After reading the other reviews, the compact but for only holding one kind of make up, you'd really be better off dragging your your regular make up around, brushes and all.
On the bright side, the mirror on this is GREAT since its bigger. The use I've found for it, which I'm very happy with, is keeping it in the car to do touch ups throughout the day. So overall, I am happy with it, but I think the design could have been improved on.
It is bulky
I purchased this item awhile back. I purchased it to use for travel (I do believe). I put my foundation in it. I did not use it very much.
It is bulky. I didn't have any problems with it spilling or leaking. It isn't attractive, it is just a black box. I don't know that I would call it ugly, though.
I do like the idea that I can carry a powder and a brush in a case. It is just a bit big to carry in a purse. I would like a way to carry a foundation for touchups and maybe a powder if I am oily and brushes for both.
I bought 8 of these last year when they were on sale. I gave them out as holiday gifts, along with a small mineral veil. I haven't heard any complaints, yet. I've been using mine for a year now with no problems. I took off one star because, as other reviewers have noted, it is a bit bulky.
Do not recommend
I bought this a couple years ago, and the catch that keeps it closed broke within 2 months. Very disappointing considering what it cost at that time. I was stuck with a useless box. I do not recommend this. It is the only Bare Escentuals item I've ever bought that I did not love.
don't waste your money
This is suppose to be a portable compact case. It is very large and rather ugly. It also wastes lots of product when loading the case and when using it. the tap swirl ideal does not really work. How do you get the product out? If you flip it, Product gets all over when opening the top. A big disappointment from Bare Escentuals. First time purchasing and I don't even know if its returnable.
Rather bulky for a travel piece
So I bought this because it was on sale for $10, and I received both a free mineral veil (full-sized) and a full-sized mascara. I figured if I didn't like the case I would at least have another brush. It's a little bulky for something that seemed like it was designed for travel, since the brush is really small. But it it's durable, so I'll keep it in my desk at work. However, I can't just "drop" my make-up in like the website says. My foundation is several times larger than the round spot for make-up, and my mineral veil is too large as well. I managed to tap my mineral veil into the sifter area, since it locks up tight, but it definitely wasn't convenient.
