Use at night
I have extremely sensitive skin. I can't use just anything on my face and my lips are the worst. I have never been able to use SPF of any kind until I found BE. I decided to try this lip balm even though it had SPF because I have been able to use ALL BE products on my face and lips. Talk about smooth lips. I use it at night before I go to bed and wake up to amazing polished lips AND I still have some balm on even after sleeping with it. They need to sell this in the boutiques so I don't have to pay S&H on $8.

The best balm I have ever tried
I have extremely sensitive skin all over my body, but my lips are the worst. I am allergic to high amounts of SPF (15 is too much), and certain brands of balm make my lips swell, break out in sores, and causes the skin to peel off. I've tried everything you can think of in the last 15 years, including many all natural products, and the only thing I have been able to use for the past 6 months is liquid vitamin E oil applied with a cotton swab. I can't even use petroleum jelly. I wasn't expecting any different results with this product, but I was hopeful because the SPF is low and BE makes the only foundation that doesn't break my cheeks, forehead, and chin out in a rash. I tried it as soon as it arrived, and anxiously waited to feel the tingling start around the edges of my mouth, or the tightening of the skin in the middle. Nothing happened. And it didn't feel greasy or waxy. It actually stayed on my lips for a couple of hours (eating and drinking) and when it had all absorbed and disappeared, my lips were just SOFT. No itching, irritation, swelling, peeling skin, or redness. I was surprised that my lips just looked HEALTHY for the first time in about 15 years. I've applied it every night for the past 2 weeks, and when I wake up my lips are so incredibly soft and smooth and pink! They haven't had a healthy color in so long. If you have sensitive lips and have tried everything at the drugstore and the lip care section at your local super store, you really need to try this. It's not waxy, It doesn't have a bad taste or smell. It just feels like you are putting liquid silk on your lips, and they will look and feel 100x better!

The Best Lip Balm To Date!!!
I've tried plenty of different lip balms to keep my lips from cracking in the winter months, but they don't work long before I'm looking for another. I also have the problem where I wake up with dry lips from sleeping since I snore, so I end up sleeping with my mouth open which is something I can't prevent. I hate admitting that, but for the past week of using this new lip balm it has worked wonders keeping my lips from drying out when I sleep. I put it on every night before I go to sleep and I wake up with soft lips. I've tried other lip balms before bed, but I still woke up with dry lips, sometimes to the point of cracking. This stuff does the trick cuz I wake up and there's still lip balm covering my lips, so this stuff lasts with one application which is awesome. I thought for the price I was paying its just going to be like everything else, but this stuff is worth every penny. I will definitely be coming back for more when I need it cuz this stuff rocks!!!!! If it wasn't for my college friend I wouldn't have discovered this awesome product, so thanks to her I can have soft lips 24/7. Thanks for making this product its awesome. Now if only they would sell it in retail stores so I can get it a little more conveniently that would make my day, but until then ordering online will have to do.

Best Lip Balm EVER
I am a lip balm junkie, and this is by far the best I've ever tried. Every fall my lips get chapped and crack, but this fall, they've stayed soft and supple thanks to this little treat! Yes, it's pricey for the size, but way worth it if you really need a good lip balm. Love it.

i love this lip balm, it is truly my favorite ever. i order 3 at a time. it is the most conditioning balm i've used so far. i now have my friends hooked on it as well!

Not too bad..
I like this lip balm. Not my favorite purchase, but it gets the job done. Keeps my lips moisturized. Too much application of the balm does leave your lips looking "pale," but that's easily avoidable if you don't apply too much balm in the first place. I actually like the smell of the product - it has a clean, fresh scent.

Smooth lips, good for every day use
I'm a fan of the First Base Lip Balm. It is very gentle on your lips, has SPF to help protect from sun damage and isn't loaded up with toxic chemicals. Works great as a base for your lip color or gloss. I have several of these and they travel with me everywhere. I work outside and find it helpful to reapply a couple of times a day. (My lips can get really dry and cracked, especially in the winter). The balm is very soothing and very light, not waxy or sticky. After using this product the first time, I threw all my other lip balms away because I knew I would never use them again. The product is absolutely colorless, but if you want a little hint of color, you can dab the end into a little of your warmth or one of your favorite Bare Minerals blushes. I usually start with BM Lipliner, then First Base Lip Balm, then add one of the Natural glosses. Works great with lipstick, too.

I love this :)
This lip balm makes my lips feel super soft. When I put it on, it feels like butter, it's that soft and creamy. I put it on every night and my lips are never chapped or rough.

Don't pair with lip makeup. Wear alone. Too greasy for makeup and it goes on slightly white, not clear.

This balm is the bomb
I am a lip balm addict. I am always buying a new one trying to find the best. And this ladies, is some kick butt stuff. It's simple. No tint, strange ingredients, funky smells etc etc.. Like one of the reviewers above mentioned.. coconut oil is the first ingredient, which is rare. (That's what sold me). My only wish is that it smelled more like coconut..which it doesn't. But scent free is probably better. Not everyone loves coconut. I am going to have to order a few more to have on hand because I will be going through it pretty quickly.
