Better than the real thing, this quick-drying sunless tanner gives you a sun-kissed complexion without exposure to the sun's harmful rays. A unique tanning peptide delivers a subtle, golden glow that gradually develops into a natural-looking tan over time. A mineral copper complex works to prolong the effects, while plant-derived emollients help lock in moisture without clogging pores for a healthy-looking complexion. Build a deeper tan by reapplying—and look like you've basked in the sun longer.

Formulated without parabens and artificial oils.

For best results, exfoliate before application. Smooth evenly all over face and décolleté. You see the amber color as you're applying it, so you know exactly where it goes, or if you've missed a spot. To avoid discoloring palms, wash hands with soap and water immediately after use.

Love the product I have not used sunless tanner for at least 20 years and decided to try the Faux Tan Face and also the Faux Tan Body. I am very happy with the results. No streaking and the color is a beautiful brown. It smells like vanilla and dries in a few minutes. Just LOVE it. 05/31/2013

Great for the face! I like to self tan but I never would apply to my face since I am very acne prone. I decided to try this because of the rave reviews and Bareminerals is a brand I can trust on my skin. I love it! I use it every morning before my primer and it works great on my oily skin. Even with freckles this product looks natural! I was also afraid with using bronzers and tanners because of the freckles i have on my cheeks. Usually bronzers that tan your face just make your face look dirty because the sun isn't there to naturally bring out your freckles more. This product works! It doesn't bring out my freckles obviously but it doesn't make my face look dirty or orange! It looks like a natural tan and I am very pale and yet it still does the job! love this product! I put it on twice a week at night! Don't put it on in the morning before you wear something light in color, comes off on clothes! Recommend putting it on at night always! 04/02/2013

Finally my face has color! My face is always pale, even if I tan from the sun the rest of my body will tan while my face stays white. While picking up the usual foundation, the counter lady suggested trying this, and I am glad I bought it! No breakouts from it even with my super sensitive skin. Looks very natural even on my pale skin. I like to apply it at night, then wake up in the morning and wash the tint off. Does not rub off on white pillows! 03/04/2013

Yes you can use it over your moisturizer or save a step and mix it in with your face moisturizer. I have oily skin and I just use this as my face moisturizer and then apply my primer and foundation on top.

Does this serve as a moisturizer too? Also, does it have that odor typical of sunless tanners?

Details:

I use a product that is a facial moisturizer and sunless tanner. I like the convenience of the 2-in-1, but after a few hours, I can smell that odor that is typical of sunless tanners. Perhaps that is unavoidable, but would love to find a product that doesn't have that smell.

It appears as though that product is no longer available, I had a hard time finding any information about it. But from what I could find, it appears as though the moisturizer was a bronzer (tint), and did not have the Dihydroxyacetone (the ingredient that is in self tanner to leave a tan) in it like faux tan face does, and so the moisturizer bronze color will wash off, whereas faux tan face will leave color for a couple days.
