Begin WITHOUT water-Love it!
Ok! So you know when you get something and you're so excited about it, you just skim through the directions?
I began by wetting my face, put some of the cleanser in my hands and rubbed it together and it had no lather. I massaged it into my face and hated it. I'm thinking, this feels like lotion on my face, its not doing anything. Then the light bulb went off and I remembered, it said to use it on your dry face without water. So I dried my face then massaged some back in, and immediately felt the tingling and new it was working.. Whewwww...
I love how moisturized my face feels while I am cleansing. Once I am done, I rinse of with lots of water, then proceed to using the other products in my kit.
I will repurchase and recommend this product.

Bummer
I was so excited to write a review after trying the product. After reading all the great reviews on this product, I couldn't wait to try it. Well I've tried everything from ProActive, Murad, Arbonne, Nutragena, ProAcne, most all the top name acne products and nothing has worked for me. I thought this was it, but I've been using it for almost 5 weeks now and it's made my face worst than it has been before. I've decided not to use it any longer.

too heavy
This cleanser felt thick and my skin felt "weighed down". After use, it felt like my skin had a film on it and never felt truly clean. I began breaking out within the week. I continued using the cleanser for the next month until I couldn't stand the "unclean" feeling anymore. I wish I could return it and get a refund.

Great if you've got allergies!
My main goal was to find a cleanser that I was NOT allergic to--and this is it! I can use it over my eyes to remove makeup, it doesn't burn, it's mild, it doesn't give me a headache, no stimulants, no over-powering scent, creamy feel. My skin feels clean when I'm done, without incident. Love it!

Not what I expected from BE
Everything I have ever tried from BE I loved except this! I was looking for a gentle cleanser that did not dry my skin out so I decided to try this. It does feel good on my skin and didn't make it feel tight at all. The problem is that it doesn't cleanse!! Yes, I use the prime time face and eye primer, and while this cleanser removes some of my face make up, It doesn't remove any of my eye make up. If you don't wear make up at all and have dry skin I'd say, give this cleanser a try. But if you are like me and are looking for a cleanser that is able to remove your make up at the end of the day then don't waste your money on this!

Excellence
This is the best liquid facial cleanser I have used in over 20 years, and I'd choose this one over the one I loved 20 years ago (which was discontinued, anyway), because this one is so incredibly gentle.
No tears formula will never irritate your eyes, much less sensitive skin. It cleanses superbly without drying out your skin, and when you rinse, unlike a popular drug store brand I won't name, you can feel that your skin is clean and without residue.
This is just the absolute best - no more reaching for eye makeup removers, this cleanser gently and perfectly removes all makeup and is perfect for facial cleansing, makeup or no makeup.
It contains the Active Soil Complex, too, which is just fantastic.
I can't say enough good things about this cleanser. It does everything you want it to do, and nothing you don't! This is sheer excellence - a winner.
