Another Home Run for Bare Escentuals
The soft pointed end is perfect for using 2.0, 4.0 or 8.0 READY eyeshadow colors. When you purchase your READY eyecolors, what's unique is that it comes with a small instructional paper with a day time look and night time look. The pointed end is good for applying a soft and/or smoky effect to the bottom lid (eye liner area) of the eye. The other end is great for tapping and buffing your base color into the eye or your other colors. I've noticed that any of the READY line could use the "tap-buff" method of makeup application. The blush, bronzer, eyeshadow and foundation could use the tap and buff method. The READY concealer is excellent too. Here's a little tip...I recently received my READY eyeshadow 8.0 called The September Issue which is a limited edition, but has 8 colors that you can really play with. The brush inside the 8.0 is a mini version of this brush. So if you get an 8.0 READY eyeshadow palette, you also have the mini version of this brush. It's a great money saver! I hope this information helps everyone. I highly recommend this brush or the Full Tapered Eyeshadow Brush.

First & last
This was one of the first brushes I got from BE. I used it for every eye product. Today it is still my go-to brush for shadow. I am going to try it on the Ready kits, now that someone has mentioned it. Maybe it is time for a new one.

Excellent for My Under-Eye Area
I use both ends, but I really do enjoy the pointed end for putting a light dusting of color under the eye when I want the "halo" effect of the smoky eye with a bright color. It's a soft brush that has lasted me going on four years and gets the job done even with daily use :)

This is a great brush for CONCEALER too!
There are so many reviews about what a great brush this is for eye shadow, and I agree. But this is for sure my go-to brush for concealer. My dark under-eye circles don't stop under my eyes, they continue into the corner of my eyes and the bridge of my nose. When the BE Concealer was introduced I was only getting limited coverage in these eye areas using the full flawless concealer brush. While that brush worked well under my eyes, it was too wide for my inner eye. The pointed end of the Precision Brush worked magically using the least amount of concealer product. BE does have one brush for that purpose, but I use the other end of the Precision Brush to add my Mineral Veil to the same areas! This brush is so versatile and economical, I own two of them. One is dedicated for concealing, the other for eye shadow. These brushes go everywhere I go, they are must-have brushes!

MY FAVORITE EYE BRUSH
I have used alot of different brushes but this brush is my absolute favorite for shadow and/or liner application. Seriously, it really helps to give a smokey look with your liner and is great at general shadow application. I must have 100 brushes in my collection and this one is my favorite for the eyes.

Great for everyday or special looks
I use this brush for everyday light application, as well as blending and layering of special looks like smoky eye and gradient blending. Both ends are wonderfully soft (I was really worried about the pointed end being too stiff) and hold just the right amount of product.
Tip: This brush changes colors really easily with the Quick Change Brush Cleaner.

Worth the price just for the pointed end alone!
The pointed end of this brush is a daily must for me! It works beautifully to add a softer, thicker, and smokier line along the lashes. I use this to apply a soft sweep of my liner shadow, before I use the Heavenly Liner Blending Brush to add a darker, more precise line on top. This creates a gorgeous depth to my lashes and makes my blue eyes stand out even more!
Even though the other end of this brush is listed as "contour shadow" it is very different than the Contour Shadow Brush that is available on its own. This brush head is smaller and more compact than the normal one so I find it works perfectly for applying the READY eye shadows (and I use my normal Contour Shadow Brush for medium coverage on the loose eye shadows).

Storing Double Ended Brushes in a Vertical Holder
I love ALL of my BE Brushes! But everytime I think I have a favorite, I see and then try a new tip and/or trick for another brush!
To store my double ended brushes in a vertical container, I use adhesive backed hook and loop tape, (Velcro). First, lay your brushes out flat, allowing enough space in between, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Cut a piece of the LOOP side of the tape, long enough to cover the width of double ended brushes as you arranged them flat. Next, I cut small strips of the HOOK tape and adhere to the middle of each brush. Adhere the LOOP strip to the inside (or outside!) of your container, making sure to allow enough room from the bottom to attach each brush to the strip without the brush touching the bottom! No more bent bristles!

Scratchy, expensive
I wanted to like this, I really did, but the larger end was very scratchy. The finer end was perfect for the crease and would have been the perfect travel brush. Unfortunately this expensive brush is going to the bottom for my makeup bag.

A Must Have
I absolutely love this brush for eyeshadow. I use the wider end for the darker color in the crease and the more pointed end for the lighter color under the eyebrow and across the lid. It is a great buy!
