Why We Made It...

The rounded brush end sweeps eyeshadow onto the eyelid. The pointed end allows you to detail, highlight and apply liner shadow like a pro and can be used wet or dry. It's a one-brush wonder. Perfect for applying bareMinerals READY Eyeshadows.

Use best with: Eyeshadow and wet/dry eyeliner.

  • APPLICATION TECHNIQUE:
  • Rounded brush end: Pat eyecolor into place.
  • Pointed brush end: Hold the brush like a pencil. Wiggle it back and forth over eyeliner to soften the line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Another Home Run for Bare Escentuals The soft pointed end is perfect for using 2.0, 4.0 or 8.0 READY eyeshadow colors. When you purchase your READY eyecolors, what's unique is that it comes with a small instructional paper with a day time look and night time look. The pointed end is good for applying a soft and/or smoky effect to the bottom lid (eye liner area) of the eye. The other end is great for tapping and buffing your base color into the eye or your other colors. I've noticed that any of the READY line could use the "tap-buff" method of makeup application. The blush, bronzer, eyeshadow and foundation could use the tap and buff method. The READY concealer is excellent too. Here's a little tip...I recently received my READY eyeshadow 8.0 called The September Issue which is a limited edition, but has 8 colors that you can really play with. The brush inside the 8.0 is a mini version of this brush. So if you get an 8.0 READY eyeshadow palette, you also have the mini version of this brush. It's a great money saver! I hope this information helps everyone. I highly recommend this brush or the Full Tapered Eyeshadow Brush. 09/06/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Serious precision This brush is a staple in my beauty toolbox! I use it every time I apply eye shadow on my lids and crease. The finer tipped end is perfect for applying shadow to the crease and It holds just enough in the brushes so that you don't over apply to your crease. The flatter end of the brush is perfect for applying a shadow to your lids. It also holds a fair amount of product and I use it to pat shadow onto my lids. 02/18/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Still my fave after many years and many many more brushes I've had this brush for more years then I can remember,it was one of my first brushes since then I've bought brushes from a lot of brands some quite a bit more expensive some very inexpensive but I have found a more versatile brushes than the tapered end of this precision brush this is the brush I come back to time and again for detailed crease work, the perfect smokey eye, nothing beats the quality or longevity either as I said I've had mine over 5 years long before I knew how to properly care for my brushes,it's kept it's shape perfectly,it's fact ALL my BE brushes have though I will admit the face brushes keep getting better and better and I'm eager to try more, but you won't find a more essential eye brush for both the beginner and the professional 01/18/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best eye brush! I've always had issues finding a good brush for my eye shadow, but this brush saved me! I've used nothing else since getting this brush in a BE kit! The tapered end is perfect for applying shadow to the crease, and for highlighting underneath my eye! The bigger end puts on ANY eye shadow smooth and blends really well! Out of all the BE brushes this is the one I would recommend! 06/26/2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very nice This was a splurge item for me, as I am usually fine with just using really inexpensive brushes (but I have found lately that with a higher price, you get a better brush that lasts longer). I love the shadow brush on this (the larger end) because I have somewhat smaller eyelids, and it is the perfect size for placing a bit of color on my lids without hitting my crease. The smaller end is great for doing highlights, but I am sure you could use it for other things like applying small dots of concealer. Would recommend to others looking to upgrade their brush collection like I am. 07/10/2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Double-Ended Precision Brush This was my first ever BE brush. I have small eyelids so the flat end holds just the right amount of powder. The pointy end works well in the crease of my lid, as well as for eyeliner. It's not too big so it travels well also. It's a keeper! 06/01/2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Double duty When I'm pressed for time, I grab this brush to apply my eye makeup. The thicker end is great for things like applying powder to the lid, adding some foundation in the undereye area, or even acne coverage. The tinier side of the brush is great for foiling, helping with a cat eye, or a blended shadow look. Sometimes when I don't have time to put on several eyeshadow shades, I'll dip the smaller end into a purple (kit royale) or brown (queen tiffany matte) and rub it in tiny circles on the outer ends of my lids. Helps create a nice blended look that seems like it should have taken longer than 30 seconds to create! 11/18/2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Smokey eye gorgeousness Perfect the smokey eye look. Put one or more colors on the lid and blend with the tapered brush, create the "V" and line on lower lash line with precision brush and blend again. 09/24/2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by First & last This was one of the first brushes I got from BE. I used it for every eye product. Today it is still my go-to brush for shadow. I am going to try it on the Ready kits, now that someone has mentioned it. Maybe it is time for a new one. 04/18/2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent for My Under-Eye Area I use both ends, but I really do enjoy the pointed end for putting a light dusting of color under the eye when I want the "halo" effect of the smoky eye with a bright color. It's a soft brush that has lasted me going on four years and gets the job done even with daily use :) 01/26/2013
