Great Brush to Keep in Your Purse The best part of the lip brush is that it has a cover that doesn't easily open when it is in your make up bag! This brush is the perfect size: it is small when it is closed so it easily fits in your purse make up bag, and you can attach the cover at the bottom at the handle for more support when applying the gloss/lipstick. This brush is great for perfect application of dark lipstick and for when applying a gloss over a lipstick (so you don't color the brush that comes in the gloss tube). 03/27/2011

Very Handy!! Best for convenience :) This lip brush is very useful and I love its easy accessibility by the provided cover included as part of its container. It's also rather unique - I haven't seen many companies that carry a similar brush. While I don't use this product every day, I do love having it available for the times when I do turn to it; mostly when wanting to try or share lip glosses with friends (for sanitary purposes), I just use this brush to get a little bit of lip color from whatever product I want, and it's like having every color out there completely portable and within your grasp at any moment. I keep it in my makeup bag, or if I know I may be going out and don't want to bring any entire lip gloss (just adds bulk), I carry this slim little guy! It's wonderful for soo many things. A little difficult to clean, but I always make sure to do so soon after I'm done using with the BE brush shampoo, and it's good as new. Great product!! Thanks Bare Escentuals... 03/06/2011

Another Brush Winner As if BE products didn't last long enough! If you use the lip brush as opposed to direct application of 100% Natural Lip Colors, you control the amount of product going on your lips AND it helps to avoid feathering (and unsightly tooth-to-lipstick contact). The lid just makes it that much more worth it. If you're a lip-addict, you need this brush! 03/06/2011

Will this brush allow me to utilize the gloss I can't reach with the applicator?

Details:

I have 2 different tubes of BM gloss right now where the current applicator doesn't allow me to reach down far enough and use every bit I can.

Yes! When the top (applicator) is fully screwed on to the bottle, it does reach the bottom. However, you cannot just dip the applicator in and get to the bottom. This is true for most any brand of gloss as there has to be room for the brush to fit in the tube when it is closed.
