Apply Benzoyl Peroxide 10 to the infected area (the pimple). Spot treat the area with your finger or if you prefer, a q-tip. Make sure you sleep face up at night to give air to the infected area. The product will create a pasty, drying effect which is normal. Benzoyl Peroxide 10 is designed to dry out the greasiness of the pimple to reduce the size and redness and then eventually with time, eliminate it.

Benzoyl Peroxide 10 probably has come in a kit in the past as a special I would imagine, but lately I have seen this only sold as is. It does work and it's worth the price. I get this adult acne/heat bumps during the summer and my face tends to get oily and for three months I'm back to being a teenager with those facial hindrances. After using this, I see results and it hasn't been a full two weeks yet. The Pure Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin and also the Facial Cleanser work well. Another trick of the trade are samples! You can see if there are any free samples you can add to your Bare Escentuals shopping bag so you can try out products before getting the full size. It's a great way to try things out without spending too much. The Facial Cleanser I would use first, second is the Pure Moisturizer for Combination Skin (or for normal skin if you choose). Alternatively, you can use the Facial Cleanser and follow up with a spot treatment of Benzoyl Peroxide 10. I asked about how to use BP10, and from my understanding you spot treat and don't wash it off. Also another tip I came across is to put a medium sized towel on your pillow (if you don't have BP10 on your face of course). The towel absorbs oil where as a pillow has lingering oil that can go back onto your face when you go to sleep at night. Also, to help products work efficiently, try getting used to sleeping on your back on those nights you're putting facial treatment products on your face.
