The Bare Guide To Color - Cool I would like to start by saying that this is beautiful collection of colors. I have extremely fair-pale skin with pink undertones, and I've always been told that my skin has cool undertones. I was initially drawn towards the warm kit, because of my brown hair and eyes, but ultimately decided on the cool kit instead. I worried that the cool colors looked a bit too bold, but I just figured that the contrast would be nice and the darker colors might compliment my medium brown hair color. I was wrong, at least in this case. The colors ended up being too harsh-looking, and seemed to clash with my hair. All the products in this collection are highly pigmented, but easy enough to apply. I think this kit would look best on people with blond to light brown hair and blue, grey, or even hazel eyes, but there are exceptions I'm sure. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I still consider my skin tone to be cool, but these particular cool shades just didn't work out. 05/08/2013

Love It! I love this kit! Every color looks beautiful on me. I always thought that greys and silvers would not look good on my eyes, but it really brings out the blue in my eyes. A word about the lip gloss, it looks scary. But has very quickly become my favorite lip gloss. It does not turn out half as hot pink as it looks. 04/29/2013

GREAT ! I love everything about this collection! The Rarest Rose blush is such a wonderful fun shade of blush. It definitely gives that pop of color as well as the Plumtini lip gloss! I'm in love with it!!!! Overall, I'm more than just satisfied with my first collection purchase from BE. The little guide for GET THE LOOK sure does help since I'm a beginner with makeup. Bare Guide to Color-Cool I love all of the colors in this kit! I was initially worried about the eye shadow primer in Pewter-but the color is very subtle and pretty. The 4 O'clock eyeliner lasts all day and is truly waterproof. I am normally a black eyeliner gal, but the 4 o'clock eyeliner has me hooked on this new color. I called BE customer service to get help choosing a lipstick color that would work with this kit--the rep was excellent! She took out the lip colors and matched to the blush in the kit-I purchased Plum Brulee-matches perfectly-You must get this kit! 08/10/2012

Lovely kit! I bought this kit a few weeks ago at my local boutique, and it's just gorgeous! I adore the shadow primer, and though I rarely wear matte colors, Velvet Charcoal is perfect for a smoky look, in the crease, or as a liner. 4 PM liner is pretty, too, though it's not showing up as plum on my skin. It does last & last, which is a nice bonus. My last Round the Clock liner worked great until it had to be sharpened, when it dried up and couldn't be used anymore (though I always put the cap on tightly), so I don't know how it will hold up long term. Rarest Rose blush is gorgeous, a bit similar to another favorite Rosy Outlook (from another kit a couple of years ago) but somewhat brighter. And I love Plumtini gloss. It's perfect for summer! I haven't used the brush because I have both ends separately already, so I can't comment on it. If you're cool, try this kit. It's a good deal, and it will make you look BEautiful! 05/18/2012

Awesome kit - a must have! I plan on buying this kit tomorrow for my cousin's wedding. I bought the Warm kit and I love it. All the colors are great and I know this one will be too. A little hint on the Round-the-Clock eyeliner - when your pencil goes dull, invest in a hand-held pencil sharpener from an office supply store - works like a charm! 05/03/2012

Bare Guide to Color - Cool Love the Kit. However after only using eyeliner a week, the pencil cannot be used. Are you supposed to sharpen it or what? No instructions. Long Pencil obviously more lead in it... 04/28/2012

Versatility in a box Great kit that will take you from day to play to night. Included are instructions for a day/work appropriate look, a playful weekend look, and a sultry, evening look. The colors are buildable and go on somewhat sheer, so there's something for everyone. Fairer skin tones can wear them light, while medium to darker skin tones can build up the color. Prime Time Primer Shadow in Polished Pewter : I'm already a fan of the primer shadows, so already sold there. I expected this shade to be more silver based on the name, but it's actually more grey with a slight tint of taupe. Very subtle and faint shimmer, just some tiny specks of sparkle here and there. Goes on sheer as a light grey and can be layered on for a darker one. Very versatile shade to mix and match with all sorts of colors. Velvet Charcoal Eyecolor: A medium grey that can be built up to a darker charcoal. Works well as a crease color or over the lid too if you want deeper shadow coverage. Round the Clock Waterproof Eyeliner in 4 PM: I tried to apply this with a light hand, but it still went on dark. This is a deep eggplant purple, so might not work as well for lighter skin tones. This will definitely show up on darker skin tones. The pencil glided smoothly with no tugging. Rarest Rose Blush: This is a nice shade that doesn't go on nearly as bright as it looks in the pot. It's a neutral rose pink, that like the other colors in the kit, can be built up to darker coverage if you need it. Plumtini: One of my favorite lip colors of all time! This doesn't go on as bright as it looks in the tube either. A beautiful shade that's almost a cross between magenta and fuchsia with a hint of purple undertone to it. Absolutely lovely and definitely my favorite from the kit along with the primer shadow. If you want a makeup set that will let you mix and match your looks from day to night, this would be it. Colors you can play and work in that go from sheer to sultry. What girl wouldn't love that? 04/11/2012

I have used so many blushes and All Over Face Colors as eye and lip colors! Thats one of the greatest things about BE is that the products are so versatile. I say wear them how they make you happy and confident!
