Applying the Makeup is Easy

  • Swirl, Tap, Buff

  • 1. Swirl
    a small amount of Mineral Veil by angling the Flawless Application Face Brush and swirl into the lid until all the Mineral Veil has been tucked into the bristles.

    2. Tap
    away excess. There should be no visible Mineral Veil on the outside of the brush.

    3. Buff
    the Mineral Veil into the skin in a circular motion, starting on the outside of your face near your cheekbone, swirling as you go. Buff around your face and then approach your forehead, cheeks, and nose.

I love this product I used the finishing powder from another company and loved it. Then I tried Mineral Veil and the difference was night and day. I use the Bare Minerals Concealer and love it. Then I wear the Mineral Veil instead of foundation. It makes my skin look and feel so good that no one knows I am not wearing foundation. And it stays on until I take it off. Not worth it I read some of the reviews when I bought this, I like to get feedback before buying. I really like bareminerals and I have been really impressed with most other products I've bought. I was so excited about this product that I over looked the negative feedback and went for it. I have acne which isnt terrible but enough that i use concealer to hide imperfections. For someone with flawless skin already, I bet this product would be great. This product seemed unnecessary to even put on. It left too much powder residue on my skin and yet my imperfections where even more noticeable. I am not a fan. 05/18/2013

i like this veil I like the mineral veil. it sets and helps the foundation to stay in place all day. it can be used over or under your blush and bronzer. i have oily skin and i am very picky about my products. 05/16/2013
Fabulous product! Perhaps redesign the container. This product is great! I have combination skin and it is difficult to find a moisturizer that fully hydrates the dry areas without causing more blemishes. I get blemishes towards my hairline and on the top of my nose and dry flaky patches at the base of my nose, (usually only in the winter, but my skin is dry otherwise.) I started using this product in the middle of the winter along with my normal facial lotion for extra moisture, because I live in Michigan in an area with low humidity. The dry, flaky patches that were around my nose disappeared in less than three weeks! AND it didn't cause me to develop blemishes. Now that summer temperatures are on their way in, I've added toner to my daily facial cleansing routine. Before I started using this product, I used toner every other day during the summers, so my routine hasn't been forced to change much. The powder has yellow/neutral undertones as opposed to the original mineral veil's pink/warm undertones. This allows me to choose what type of finish I want to have on my skin, which has slightly olive undertones, (I use medium beige foundation.) The powder also has more shimmer to it than the original, but that is not noticeable when it is applied. It is a great way to add a little variety to your usual makeup routine! The only real issue I have with this product is the container. The powder is so fine, (possibly finer than the original mineral veil, but I'm not sure), and the hole for dispensing it is so large, I feel like I waste a lot every time I use it! In four months, I used approximately 1.5 grams of the original mineral veil and in the same time, I used approximately 3 grams of the hydrating mineral veil. Some attention to the container design might be worth looking into in order to make the customer feel like they're getting a better value! But overall, it is a wonderful product!!! 05/09/2013

Perfect lighting The mineral veil to me is the secret star of the BM product line. I switch between the original foundation & Ready, but I can never give up on my Illuminating MV. It creates the perfect finish to any look, and the glow it gives is subtle enough that it does not make you look like Edward Cullen. Cannot recommend it enough. I go through it so quickly because I like it both under & over the foundation to control shine & sweat. Also, I think it makes everything stay better throughout the whole day. 04/18/2013

The bottom of the container says 6g/0.21 oz. I think they call this a "medium" size - not as big as a regular Mineral Veil, but not a travel or sample size by any means.
