Good Product - Surprised! After reading other reviews, just want to say to make the moisturizer go on easier, just lightly spritz your face and neck with water prior to putting it on. I have older skin, both red & yellow tones with freckles & wrinkles, too! The tint is barely noticeable. This product works nicely for me. It was a tad annoying to get used to the shiny skin after applying, but the shine fades within a few minutes. It is a comfortable moisturizer for me even in the summer months. My 33 yo daughter used it when she ran out of hers and she really likes the tint and the way it feels. Guess I'll be ordering multiples next time! 06/17/2013

Perfect sunscreen for your face! My entire life I've had issues with using conventional sunscreen on my face. It feels horrible and I ALWAYS break out afterwards. But those days are over now! I went to the pool for a few hours in direct sun the entire time and never reapplied and my face did not even have a tinge of redness. (Wish I could say the same for the rest of my body) Now I just really wish that BE would make a full body sunscreen in the same style so I can stop putting harsh chemicals on my body when I want to enjoy the sun! 06/17/2013

Works well, but has an awful smell! This product keeps my face moisturized all day and has a nice tint to it, but I can't get over the smell of it! It's a faint odor, but enough that I smell it for a few hours after applying. I have stopped using the product for this reason. Disappointing! 06/10/2013

Too Dark to Blend I was so excited when Bare Escentuals released this product that I ordered it like the second it came out. I am a huge fan of the BE moisturizers and tinted moisturizers are so great for weekends and summer when you want very light coverage. But the color of this makes it absolutely useless for me. My foundation shade is fairly light, so I'm fair but I'm not ghostly pale, but this was way to orangey/ dark for me. No amount of blending with fingers, brushes or sponges could make this look right and not streaky. Also, with a tinted moisturizer, I want to feel like I look really dewey and hydrated, but I didn't feel like this product gave me that. It's definitely not greasy, but as a person with oily/ combo skin, I didn't feel like this gave me the glow I'd like if it was a color that matched. I would so say if this product it going to be useful, BE will have to come out with some more shades so other skin tones can wear it. 04/20/2013

Fast and fab The tinted choice is great for a fast look when paired with glee, true, warmth or any of the all over face products. Provides a very natural , healthy look. Works great with the new creamy concealer. I use the combination variety in the summer and the dry skin formula in the winter. If you like BB creams this would be a perfect product to try. 03/23/2013

Day time moisture. I use the purely nourshing cream at night and this in the tinted version durring the day. My skin is normal but leans more on the dry side. I also tried the normal to dry verson of this because that was what I used as a day time moisturizer before this product came out, but it was too thick and I had trouble smoothing it on without pulling my skin or using a lot of product. I figure you can never have to may layers of sun protection on your face and I love the way the tint evens out my complexion. It does such a nice job that on casual days I can skip my foundation, and just add mineral veil and blush. It only comes in one shade and perhaps it may be too dark on someone with fair skin, but I imagine it would blend out well as you rub it in. I really don't think this would work well on dark skin though. I wear medium beige foundation and the shade is perfect for me. 01/24/2013

I have this moisturizer but do i need to put foundation on top of it?

Details:

I have advanced protection spf 20 moisturizer and this is the first make up ive used. I feel like my make up isnt complete though with just this and some blush and maybe mascara.

I use this in the tinted variety when I want a fast natural look. I don't apply foundation over it - but if I have a blemish - I use the creamy concealer with this. The all over face products like " glee " work great wit it - dust on cheeks and eyes - even mix with a lip balm. Add a little mascara for a full fresh face look. This is my go to choice for day of running errands, or a light makeup look when working as a nurse. Hope this helps.

I always put on my moisturizer first, let it sit for about 15 minutes while I do other things, then add my foundation, blush etc.

Is this UVA and UVB protection or just UVB??

Details:

My dermatologist suggests that I use both and I can't find this information in the description. I received a sample at the ULTA store and love the lotion though..Thx!
